mothers day

hello operator, does heaven have a phone number? mommy went to heaven, but i need her here today, my tummy hurts and i fell down, i need her right away. operator, can you tell me how to find her in this book? i dont know where to look. i think my daddy needs her too, at night i hear him cry. i hear he calls mommy's name sometimes, but i really dont know why. maybe if i call her, she will hurry home to me.

is heaven is very far away? is it across the sea? she's been gone a long, long time she needs to come home now. i really need to reach her, but i simply dont know how. help me to find the number please, is it listed under "Heaven"? i cant read these big big words, i am only seven. im sorry operator, i didnt mean to make you cry, is your tummy hurting too, or is there something in your eye? if i call my church maybe they will know mommy said when we need help that's where we should go. i found the number to my church tacked up on the wall. thank you operator, i'll give them a call.

mommy,
your arms were always open when i needed a hug. your heart understood when i needed a friend. your gentle eyes were stern when i needed a lesson. your strength and love has guided me and gave me wings to fly.

mommy,
you may be treated like the maid,
you may be treated like the gardener,
you may be treated like the daycare,
you may be treated like the chauffer,
you may be treated like many things.

but one thing is for sure,
you will always be loved.
for a fathers work may be from sun up till sundown,
but a mothers work is never down.
and all that i have, am, and hope to be, i owe to you,
so this is for all the times i forgot to say thank you.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY MOM!
